Decent location for exploring Scarborough.
The check-in process was chaotic and disorganized. I felt uncomfortable trying to find my wallet in a busy bar area to make payment for my room key. The mattress was worn out and uncomfortable, which made it hard to get a good night's sleep.

Recommended for ale enthusiasts
Stayed three nights, clean and comfy Room above a busy pub. The bar staff were friendly and helpful with ale suggestions. Enjoyed a lovely atmosphere with live music that ended around 10:30, which was just right. Had some nice snacks while relaxing outdoors.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but still acceptable.

I stayed in a Budget Double Room for 3 nights, and it was mostly comfy. The size was good, but the mattress needed a refresh. The bathroom was clean, and I loved having convenient access to the bar below for late-night snacks. A bit noisy on the weekends from the pub, though, which made it tough to sleep sometimes. It’s also a decent walk to the beach, which was great for morning strolls! not bad for a budget stay.

had an amazin stay at valley bar! the big room was perfect for me, had a kingsize bed which was super comfy. loved how close it was to the beach and the supermarket was just around the corner! the bar staff were really friendly and chill. it was nice to relax and enjoy a few ales after a day out.

Roomy stay, but noisy nights
Room was pretty spacious which was great, and I loved having the bar/lounge area right there. I couldn't get much sleep 'cause of the loud music from the bar below, especially on Friday. Not ideal when you're trying to relax! The location was handy, just a short walk to the beach, though. Worth checking out if you don't mind the noise!

The bar atmosphere felt genuinely welcoming with friendly staff and a lively crowd. The beer selection was impressive, although better food options would have been appreciated. The room was comfortable, albeit a touch dated, which added to its charm.
